The considerable extension of the Serra Grossa means that, along the mountain range, it has different names according to the population or the more or less prominent geographical features. This is the case of the Serra de Requena, the Palmeral or the Serra de la Corsa that frame, to the south, the term of Barxeta. The excursion proposal is a demanding long-term tour that enters these complex mountains in contact with the Buixcarró and the Mondúver massif.
The estimated duration of the tour is about 5 or 6 hours for a medium level in people accustomed to walking in the mountains.
